In the past I used to see John as the clown of the Rubettes. This image has changed totally since I met him in person.
After John left the Rubettes, he started a new career as a healer. He's also written his own music, whereas for me personally his mantra therapy pieces are most important. This kind of relaxation music combined with his words and journeys in a fantasy world make you forget your daily problems for a while and give you the energy to deal with them.
Mostly impressed I was when John read my palms. Well, we only knew each other from far, 5 minutes while they dedicated autographs. But what he told me was all true, as if he'd known me for years. In the meantime he knows me better. I addressed him once with some personal problems and have to admit that he helped me a lot. Thanks John.
